Hi there, Jiyeon! Welcome to
planDisney, and thank you so much for stopping by with your question. I’m so glad you asked about Fantasmic! because it’s one of those can’t-miss, goosebump-worthy classics at
Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
As of right now, the entertainment schedule lists two showings on December 21, 2025, one at 7:30 p.m. and another at 9 p.m. That’s wonderful news if you’re building a flexible evening plan, because it gives you an earlier option that pairs nicely with a post-show stroll down Sunset Boulevard, and a later show that lets you stack a few final attractions before settling in for the grand finale. However, please keep in mind that all showtimes are subject to change! Inclement weather, operational adjustments, or park-hours updates can shift things around, so think of these times as your working plan rather than a locked-in itinerary.
My best tip is to set a reminder to check the online calendar about a week before your check-in date, and then again on the morning of your Hollywood Studios day. That quick double-check has saved me more than once, especially during the winter months when Florida’s forecast likes to surprise us. If you’re traveling with a group, choose one “show captain” to check the app periodically in case a performance is delayed.
If Fantasmic! is a top-tier priority for your crew (and I have a feeling it is), consider booking the Fantasmic! Dining Package. It’s a great way to enjoy a relaxed meal at one of the participating restaurants and receive reserved seating for the show. Without the package, I recommend arriving around 30 to 45 minutes early for the 7:30 p.m. performance, or 25 to 30 minutes early for the 9 p.m. show. The amphitheater is large, but popular nights do fill quickly, and arriving early makes a real difference in comfort and view lines. Since you will be visiting during one of the most popular times of the year, I actually suggest arriving 15 to 20 minutes earlier than usual!
One last planning nugget, Jiyeon. Aim for seats a few rows above the center sections if you can. You'll be close enough to feel the energy and see character details, but high enough to take in the full water-screen projections and fireworks. Make sure to bring an extra layer (like a jacket!) in case the evening breeze kicks up off the water. Last year, my husband and I were freezing during the show because we forgot our sweaters at home!
If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to
reach back out to me. I'm always available and more than happy to help! Have an awesome Halloween week!
Warm hugs,
Ana Paula
