Welcome back to planDisney, Tina. It’s always great to see familiar names return to the panel for trusted advice and planning tips. I love that you’re already thinking ahead and planning a stay in one of Disney’s incredible 2- or 3-bedroom Villas or cabins. These accommodations are perfect for larger families or anyone looking to enjoy a little extra space and comfort during their stay.
To better explain,
Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts are part of the
Disney Vacation Club (DVC) portfolio. Members of DVC can book their “home” resort up to 11 months in advance, and non-home resorts up to 7 months in advance, using their vacation points. Because of this exclusive booking window, Guests paying cash for a Villa (rather than using DVC points) generally see availability open around six months before their desired travel dates. That said, it can vary based on the time of year, demand, and special events, so I always recommend checking the
Walt Disney World Resort website frequently to grab your preferred room as soon as it becomes available.
These Deluxe Villas are truly something special. The 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom options come with separate living and sleeping areas, a full kitchen, and even an in-unit washer and dryer. My family really appreciates these features. It makes longer stays more comfortable, allows us to cook a few meals for our pickier eaters, and helps us pack a bit lighter knowing we can do laundry mid-trip.
Tina, I hope this helps clarify the booking timeline for your future stay. If you’d like, I’d be happy to share my personal thoughts on a few of my favorite Deluxe Villa Resorts, as each one offers its own unique atmosphere and amenities.
Let me know what kind of experience you’re hoping for, and I can help point you in the right direction.
See you real soon,
Brent
