Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer. We asked the panelists

What are your favorite springtime offerings at the Disney parks and resorts?

  • Jambo! Welcome to springtime at Walt Disney World Resort. While all four theme parks celebrate this season of rebirth, my family is always drawn to Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park as the weather warms. My son and I visited on opening day in 1998, and the Earth Month celebrations since then have never disappointed.

Strolling through this lush and blooming theme park is enough to put a "spring" in your step, and there are often baby animals to meet and learn about, too. I can't wait for the chance to glimpse baby elephant Corra next month when I hop aboard Kilimanjaro Safaris.

During April, look for specialty treats and drink offerings at this park's many quick service and table service locations. Last year, my favorite was the Flamingo Cupcake, available at Flame Tree Barbecue from the end of March through April. You never know what animal-themed yumminess might come out of the jungle!

Special characters often emerge from hibernation as the flowers appear, and last year, we loved seeing Baloo on the Discovery River Character Cruise. My tip is to enjoy a delicious lunch at Nomad Lounge where you can watch the flotillas sail by.

The Disney Parks Blog might make some announcements about Earth Month 2024 soon, so I'm getting my pith helmet ready. Won't you join me for a springtime adventure?

I always get an extra spring in my step when visiting Walt Disney World Resort, but visiting during the spring season truly brings the magic into full bloom. There's no more beautiful time of year to stroll World Showcase than during EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. From stunning Character topiaries and miniature gardens tucked in nearly every flower bed to the edible floral accents featured in many festival food and beverages, guests are sure to be enchanted! I especially love walking through Butterfly Landing presented by AdventHealth and watching the colorful butterflies flutter all around the blooms.

Floral displays aren't limited to the parks. I love visiting Disney's Beach Club Resort to admire the meticulously maintained gardens just outside the lobby heading toward Crescent Lake. Those bright blooms really pop against the beachy blue resort exterior and make it feel like spring year round. You'll find gorgeous landscaping and floral bouquets at many other resorts too, most notably Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa which features an incredible seasonal arrangement in it's grand lobby. Speaking of grand, guests can admire the artistry of hand sculpted and painted Easter eggs and pick up spring sweets at the Grand Cottage. Last year my family was dazzled by the incredible egg designs and couldn't resist snacking on springy pastel treats as we enjoyed the lobby atmosphere.

Hi there! Springtime at Walt Disney World Resort makes for a bloomin' time! Over at EPCOT, the International Flower & Garden Festival is in full swing! I love participating in Garden Graze, which is the perfect activity for any foodie! Using your Festival Passport, purchase five items from the Outdoor Kitchens, and collect stamps! Once you hit the magic number of five, head on over to Pineapple Promenade for a delicious treat as a reward! For Mouseketeers in your group, participate in Spike Bee's Pollen-Nation Exploration Scavenger Hunt! And of course, who doesn't love finding their favorite characters amongst the topiaries? The arrival of spring brings in new food items to try! Visit the Disney Parks Blog and read up on all the latest food offerings. For the foodies in your group, spend an afternoon resort hopping and trying out items that are exclusive to certain Disney Resort hotels. I hope all of these tips inspire you to have the most magical visit to Walt Disney World!

Much to my husband's surprise, I don't just dream about springing in this magical season all year long because it's the time of year that allows me to proudly wear a Birthday Celebration Button and treat myself to a Best Friends Breakfast at 'Ohana. Spring also brings with it two of my favorite Walt Disney World Resort celebrations: the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival and Earth Day at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park

While most Guests will rave about EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival's Outdoor Kitchens and iconic topiaries, I'm going to encourage you to take the path less traveled as you enjoy the colorful sights, scents, and sounds the Festival offers. In my opinion, the brightly colored gardens are best appreciated from above, so I always arrive at EPCOT aboard the Monorail. There's no view quite like that of the vibrant colors and patterns seen from the Monorail as it glides in a leisurely loop around World Discovery, World Celebration, and World Nature. Likewise, Butterfly Landing Presented by AdventHealth always makes me feel as if I've stepped into a magical garden as colorful butterflies drift by en route to their next richly colorful perch. If you're hoping for a hands-(or nose)-on experience, don't miss Blossoms of Fragrance Presented by Scentsy where you'll be able to explore the inspirations for some of Scentsy's signature fragrances and even have the chance to take them home. Finally, my favorite Flower & Garden Festival moments are those of respite at Songbird Meadow where birds such as Purple Martins treat Guests to their delightful melodies. I love to enjoy a midday treat from BRUNCHCOT with Songbird Meadow serving as the soundtrack of the scene.

If character meet-and-greets and delicious snacks top your list of magical must-dos, I wanna be like you! You won't want to miss the Earth Day Celebrations at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park where last year King Louie, Tinkerbell, and Tarzan's best girls, Terk and Jane, made special appearances for the occasion, and many of the tasty limited-time Earth Day snacks are available the entire month!

There's a special kind of magic in the air that always comes around this time of year at the Disney Destinations around the world, with the buzzing of bees and the blooms that begin to burst into a colorful collage of petals. Nowhere is this more evident than at Disneyland Paris where the gorgeous landscaping invites you in as you approach the newly reimagined Disneyland Hotel, emerging from meticulously manicured flower beds and fountains surrounded by lush foliage. This season brings Blooming in Colours: a journey into fairy worlds! which can be found during Disney Symphony of Colours until the 5th of May; kinetic floral decorations light up during the day into the evening to welcome you for a stroll down Main Street, U.S.A. where you just might be able to spot the glimmering Pixie Dust left by our fairy friends. This month, I'm excited to watch A Million Splashes of Colour with an incredible view from Central Plaza between the beautiful floral stages as they release their sweet scents - it's the perfect spot to enjoy this vibrant show in celebration of springtime!

Enjoying warm weather in the springtime is a real treat when visiting from the United Kingdom.  Swimming in the resort pool is a pure joy, especially in late Spring when I have often delighted in seeing mama duck leading her babies around, or in the water!  Likewise, visiting a water park in early Spring would be something only the bravest of us would attempt back at home!  These are simple delights that we don't take for granted. I can often be found savouring coffee at Disney Springs, sitting on the outside patio watching the world go by at Ghirardelli Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop.  Another pleasure is taking a stroll around Crescent Lake, ending at Disney's BoardWalk for another al fresco coffee and sweet snack from Disney's BoardWalk Deli.  It goes without saying that the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival is fabulous, and I highly recommend a walk through Butterfly Landing to try and capture some photos of the astonishingly beautiful butterflies.

While magic is always in bloom at the Walt Disney World Resort, springtime magic is a little more colorful as it celebrates growth and rebirth in many ways throughout the theme parks and resorts! The EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival is the center of springtime magic with its famous character topiaries (there are over 70 to admire!) and outdoor kitchens, but don't miss out on the Egg-stravaganza Hunt that will have you hopping all over World Showcase in search of hidden eggs to claim your prize at the end! My family always enjoys this activity and we love seeing the creative ways they bring these bunny-insprired creations to life!

And while you're egg hunting, stop by select resorts to view the artistry behind the Easter Egg displays created just for the season; Disney's Contemporary Resort, Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and Disney's Yacht Club Resot are all home to these unique, Disney-inspired pieces that will delight your senses!

If you get hungry after all that hunting, my family always enjoys a meal at Hollywood & Vine in Disney's Hollywood Studios, where Minnie Mouse and friends get special seasonal makeovers througout the year! Minnie's Springtime Dine lunch and dinner is available to guests visting between March 16 and June 19, 2024!

As your spring forward with your vacation plans, take time to stop and smell the roses, savor a seasonal treat, and celebrate the beauty of magic - it's all around you!

Spring is an idyllic time of year to visit Disneyland Resort because it means the kickoff of the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival! Taking place from March 1 through April 22, 2024, the Food & Wine Festival is brimming with delicious food and beverages! With so many tasty options to choose from, I suggest using the Disney Parks Blog Foodie Guide to create a list of must-try items. Some of my recommended choices this year include the Mickey-shaped Macaron made with SNICKERS bar pieces, the Cheeseburger Bao, and S’mores Caramel Tart.

Sip and Savor Passes are an easy way to stretch your dollar and minimize time spent purchasing food at the Food & Wine Festival. A Sip and Savor Pass includes 4 or 8 digital coupons that can be redeemed for select food and nonalcoholic beverages at participating Festival Marketplaces and dining locations. Use your Sip and Savor Pass on the highest-priced items to get the best value! After picking up a few snacks, head over to the Palisades Stage or the Paradise Garden Bandstand to watch the live musical performers while enjoying your food! View the Entertainment Schedule on the Disneyland website to see upcoming performances.

Besides the fantastic food, there are plenty of experiences to delight in during the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival. Junior chefs can decorate cupcakes with SuperKitties, wine aficionados will love participating in Beverage Education Seminars, and Guests can glide on Soarin’ Over California. It is a splendid time for the entire family!

Springtime is truly the best time to visit Walt Disney World Resort! There are so many fun activities, foods and experiences to enjoy in the Parks. All my attention however is for the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival and everything it has to offer.

I would like to suggest something "off the beaten path." You could say that it's off the path but it leads you to another one through the beautiful and educational English Tea Garden Presented by Twinings®. Head over to the United Kingdom Pavilion in EPCOT and look for The Tea Caddy. Sign up early for a complimentary guided tour of the beautiful garden where you will learn about different teas. At the end of the tour you get a goodie bag of teas to take home! As a fan of all things tea this is very exciting to me.

Each of the Pavilions in World Showcase have secret gardens like this with beautiful flowers and plants to explore and learn about along with surprises. The Germany Pavilion has the cutest Miniature Garden worthy of exploration by us giant humans. The Italy Pavilion has the Garden Italiano that is growing all the ingredients for your favorite meal! Take a turn off the main paths and you never know what you will find! Exploring these gardens is truly the best way to celebrate spring and I hope everyone gets a chance to enjoy them!

Springtime at the Disneyland Resort is one of my favorite times of the year. Beautiful weather, seasonal food offerings, and the annual Eggstravaganza! From the time my kids were little, they loved this fun Easter egg hunt throughout the Disneyland Resort. To enjoy this egg-cellent activity, Guests should purchase a map and stickers at one of the select merchandise locations and use it to keep track of the decorative eggs that they've found by placing a corresponding sticker on their map. When we were at Disneyland Park last week, my kids enjoyed finding these eggs in unlikely places, including on rooftops! So keep your eyes peeled! Once you're ready, return to one of the two redemption locations in the Downtown Disney District to claim your Eggstravaganza keepsake.

For some more Springtime fun beyond the theme parks, be sure to catch the Sensational Springtime Buffet at Goofy's Kitchen from March 28 through May 12. Goofy and his pals will be dressed in their springtime finest and can't wait to welcome you to breakfast or dinner at his kitchen at the Disneyland Hotel. It is a great way for some magic outside the theme parks, and it is the only dinner-time character dining experience at the Resort. So spring on over for a deliciously fun time!

Springtime is such a wonderful time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort, and each year, I just have to visit the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. The Outdoor Kitchens at this festival are some of my favorites of the offerings all year long. As someone who gravitates toward plant-based options, this festival seems to offer a lot of them...and some of the best! Also, if I'm visiting around the Easter season, a trip to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is a must to see the Easter displays and get some delicious and sweet treats at the Grand Cottage. It's a time of year to celebrate the beauty of nature all around us, so while you won't need to paint the roses red, be sure to stop and admire the blooms all around the resort that the talented and hard-working Cast Members of the Horticulture Team have created everywhere you look and around every corner.

After the crescendo of the holidays, I love counting down to a springtime visit to Walt Disney World Resort. As soon as I step through the doors of my Disney Resorts Collection Hotel, the winter chill melts away and the cheerfulness of bright blooms and Florida sunshine takes over!

At the Most Magical Place on Earth, the joyful energy of springtime is contagious. It’s the perfect time to enjoy strolling down Main Street, U.S.A. or snacking “around the world” at EPCOT. It’s my favorite time of year to enjoy a DOLE Whip treat while watching the Festival of Fantasy Parade from a shady park bench. The mornings are typically cool and the afternoons are pleasantly warm - perfect for savoring my time outdoors. A day at my Resort Hotel is a must - my family likes to start off with a bountiful brunch somewhere like Topolino’s Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera and then spend the afternoon relaxing at the pool, taking in as much sunshine as we can!

Quite possibly the star of the springtime show for my family is the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. My little ones enjoy getting up close and personal with butterflies in the Butterfly Garden, and we all celebrate when we find hand-crafted topiaries modeled after our favorite Disney Characters! The unique food and beverage options at the outdoor kitchens are so much fun to taste, and we love ending the day by grooving along with the talented performers at the Garden Rocks Concert Series.

A springtime visit to Walt Disney World Resort is a refreshing experience for my whole family, and I hope it’s just as renewing and inspiring for you, too!

As the Walt Disney World Resort blossoms with the arrival of spring, the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival beckons with its unique blend of natural beauty and culinary delights. The Festival is a sensory extravaganza with lush gardens and a tantalizing array of food offerings. The park is dotted with Outdoor Kitchens, each offering a distinct culinary experience. From the Grilled Warm Lobster Tail with Key Lime Butter at Florida Fresh to the Coconut Tres Leches: Vanilla Cake soaked with Oat, Almond, and Coconut Milks with Toasted Coconut at La Isla Fresca, the Festival promises a gastronomic adventure like no other.

If you are looking for plant-based options, the Garden Graze is a food stroll through the Festival with tasty treats like the Plant-Based Buffalo Chicken Tender Poutine on Crispy Potato Barrels with Plant-Based Ranch and Blue Cheese Crumbles near the Canadian Pavilion. And don't forget to check out the Grilled Street Corn on the Cob with Savory Garlic Spread and Plant-Based Cheese at the EPCOT Farmers Feast near Test Track - it's simply scrumptious!

The Garden Rocks Dining Package is a must-try if you're looking for an experience that will leave a lasting impression. You can enjoy a delicious meal at one of EPCOT's beloved restaurants, such as Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, Le Cellier Steakhouse, or Spice Road Table, and you'll also have guaranteed seats at one of the Garden Rocks performances on the same day! So why not treat yourself to a day filled with fabulous food, great company, stunning views, and live music? It's the perfect way to create unforgettable memories on a beautiful Spring day.

Wow! What incredible suggestions my panelist pals have made for enjoying a springtime visit to the Disney Parks. I wish I was heading to one right now!

One of my favorite Walt Disney World Resort places to visit in the spring is Disney Springs! It’s blooming with fresh flavors, fun entertainment and of course, shopping. The beach vibes on the patio of Summer House on the Lake create a welcoming place to enjoy the weather and watch Aerophile – The World Leader in Balloon Flight take off and land. Make sure you save room for one of their famous cookies. Another great location is The BOATHOUSE®. Dine dockside, on land and sea-inspired dishes, and my favorite drink—the Duck, Duck, Razz. You can also catch a glimpse of adventure as the vintage Amphicars float (or is it drive?) by. These amphibious vehicles attract quite the curious stares from Guests watching them enter and leave the water. I personally think everyone must enjoy a tour in one just once to have the story to tell.

With the meal complete, it’s time for a little retail therapy and Disney Springs has all the best shops. Spring is the perfect time to purchase a new, bright and colorful Vera Bradley bag or wallet. Their Disney collections are always so beautiful. I also adore visiting the Marketplace Co-Op where I can find a special treat for my dog and adorable Disney home good items. Another must-do shop is the Bowes Signature Candles store where you can find the fresh smell of Disney springtime to take home. Of course, no trip would be complete without a visit to World of Disney—it’s the world’s largest collection of Disney merchandise.

Once you’re all shopped out, I highly recommend catching a performance of Drawn to Life Presented by Cirque du Soleil® & Disney. This incredible production showcases the beauty of Disney animation with the jaw-dropping style of Cirque du Solei acrobatics and entertainment. It’s truly amazing!

Last, Swirls on the Water is the perfect place to end your visit. Enjoy a delightful DOLE Whip® flight featuring fresh, spring flavors while you relish that sweet, springtime breeze and reminisce about the perfect Disney Springs day. Enjoy!

Spring at Disney is my absolute favorite time to visit, and oh boy, does EPCOT’s International Flower & Garden Festival steal the show! Strolling around EPCOT with all the vibrant flower displays and those adorable character topiaries is like stepping into a real-life fairy tale. But let’s talk about the best part – the food! The outdoor kitchens dotted around the World Showcase are a foodie’s dream come true. I always make a beeline for the Honey Bee-stro for their honey-mascarpone cheesecake – it’s divine. And you can't miss the Frushi at Hanami in Japan; it’s a fun, fresh, and fruity take on sushi.

If like me, you are heading over to Disneyland next week for spring break, you’re in for a treat with the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival! It’s a feast for the senses. Word on the street is that the go-to is always the Garlic Kissed booth for their grilled beef tenderloin slider with garlic chimichurri sauce – it’s a flavor explosion. Be sure to check out the Disney Eats: Foodie Guide for all the details! The festival is also packed with fun presentations and culinary demonstrations. Plus, spring weather is just perfect for park hopping, enjoying all those tasty treats, and soaking up the vibrant atmosphere. Can’t wait for you to experience all the yummy goodness and springtime magic Disney has to offer!

A visit to Walt Disney World Resort during springtime usually means escaping the Canadian cold weather therefore seeing the theme parks and resorts abloom with color and greenery makes my heart happy! One of my family’s must-do activities is exploring EPCOT’s International Flower and Garden Festival. With its gorgeous gardens, perfectly groomed topiaries of various characters, Garden Rocks Concert Series in the America Gardens Theatre in the American Adventure Pavilion, and the Festival Outdoor Kitchens with their delicious offerings, there is something for all ages - for kids, and those who are kids at heart! There are also plenty of ways for kids to experience the Festival, whether it’s climbing on one of the many play structures, snacking on delicious treats or completing Spike’s Pollen-Nation Exploration Scavenger Hunt.

My family enjoys experiencing the diverse transportation options available at Walt Disney World Resort. From soaring above the parks on the Disney Skyliner, with stops at both theme parks and select Disney Resort hotels, to embarking on the futuristic adventure of the Walt Disney World Monorail Transportation where you can hop on board with a cheerful "all aboard," there's something for everyone. When riding the Monorail, you can view the incredible colors of EPCOT’s flower beds; seeing them from a different perspective is a whole new world! For a more leisurely journey, we love cruising aboard a water launch or ferry boat through the Walt Disney World Water Transportation system. And when it's time to sit back and relax, we rely on the convenient Walt Disney World Bus Service to get us where we need to go.

If you’re looking for something fun to do during the Easter season, choose your favorite mode of Walt Disney World Resort Transportation, head on over to a resort and feast your eyes on the incredible Chocolate Easter Egg displays. I can’t explain the magic that goes into each creation, but wow! Some locations such as Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa have Easter-themed treats for purchase - they are sure to satisfy your sweet tooth!
