Hiya, Suzanne! Thanks for swimming on over to planDisney and sharing your question with us.
I’m sure you’re getting super excited for your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation, especially with all the fun things happening in 2026. Based on the dates you’ve provided, the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts will be in full swing, and new audio-animatronics may have made their debut at Frozen Ever After. You can find a preview of the year ahead over on the
Disney Parks Blog.
The
water park benefit for Walt Disney World Resort hotel guests was very popular—I took advantage of it a couple of times in 2025—and they’ve announced that it will be back in 2026. No official dates have been shared yet, except that the perk will return in summer 2026. So I don’t think the water park perk will be available during your visit, but I’d continue to check the Walt Disney World website and Disney Parks Blog for updates.
I’m sure this isn’t the news you were hoping for, but
Typhoon Lagoon will be open during your stay (schedules and availability are subject to change), so you can still purchase tickets to get your water park fix if you’d like. The silver lining is that Saratoga Springs
features multiple pools across the resort. The High Rock Spring Pool features a 128-foot water slide, and the Paddock Pool’s water slide measures 146 feet long. While these water slides aren’t exactly Humunga Kowabunga or Summit Plummet, they are still a lot of fun.
I hope you have a splash-tastic time at Walt Disney World and Saratoga Springs Resort, Suzanne. Pop right back if you have any more questions. Your planDisney pals are here to help!
Magical travels!
Matt
