Based on the time of year, Kelly, fireworks in Disneyland Park may occur every night or weekends only, it just depends! I encourage you to check the
Hours & Events Calendar on the Disneyland website six weeks prior to your visit, under "Fireworks & Nighttime Entertainment," for the most current information and to see which dates fireworks may be occurring during your visit. Make sure your particular date is selected from the "Change Date" at the top.
Our family's favorite spot to view the fireworks is over by "
it's a small world," as the crowds are usually much lighter back there! Projections will be up on the attraction's facade, so make sure you have a clear view of "it's a small world!" Plan to arrive 30-45 minutes before the show is scheduled to begin to claim a spot. Then while you're waiting for the show to begin, take a rest on the little travel blanket you brought (because your planDisney pal recommended it!) and enjoy some treats! Our family's go-to is the seasonal sundae from
The Golden Horseshoe. Remember to mobile order, as it saves you so much time!
All that said, it's important to know that the schedule can change at any time and fireworks at Disneyland Park can also be cancelled last minute due to weather, unfortunately.
