Bienvenue to planDisney, Teresa!
I'm always so delighted to see that a fellow American Mouseketeer is heading across the Atlantic to say
bonjour to Disneyland Paris. I just returned from a stay at
Disney Newport Bay Club myself, so you've stopped by with your question at the
practically perfect time!
Like you, I love arriving at Disneyland Paris early in the morning. That first day feels like a bit of bonus magic! While Cast Members at Compass Club reception will be more than happy to help you with your luggage upon arrival, you unfortunately won't have access to the Compass Club Lounge until after the official check-in time of 4 PM.
I'm sure this isn't what you were hoping to hear, Teresa, so I want to assure you that there are plenty of dining options both inside and outside of the Disneyland Paris theme parks to prevent any
rumblies in your tumbly. There's a delightful breakfast buffet offered at both Newport Bay restaurants each morning for an additional cost, or you're more than welcome to head over to
Disney Village or the theme parks for a quick bite. Both are just a short walk away!
I honestly lost count of the number of delicious croissants, crepes, and café au laits I enjoyed from various locations during my recent visit, so you shouldn't have any trouble tracking down something to eat.
While we're on the subject of dining, don't forget that you're eligible to begin booking your dining tables as soon as your hotel booking is confirmed. Personally, I recommend making a reservation at
Walt's - an American Restaurant. Dining on some of Walt's favorite dishes with a view of Main Street, U.S.A. was a truly magical experience.
I hope this clears things up for you, Teresa, and that your trip to Disneyland Paris is filled with moments you cherish forever. If you'd like any additional recommendations for your upcoming visit, feel free to
stop back by. You've got a friend in me!
Au revoir,
Lizzie
