Mickey and Minnie Halloween Costume; Magic Kingdom; Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

    If I go to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, can I carry a cartoon-like toy gun as part of a costume?

    Welcome back to the planDisney Roundup. It’s so nice to meet you. I’m even more thrilled to hear you have a spooktacular night to look forward to at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. It’s going to be a thrilling time!

    I was checking out the costume guidelines for this event and found the specific guidelines for props and accessories. 

    • Costumes may not contain props or accessories that can resemble or could easily be mistaken for an actual weapon.
    • Acceptable accessories include transparent wings, plastic light sabers, toy swords, and tutus.

    I can’t see your costume, but based on the Park Dress Guidelines, I probably would leave your accessory at home. Plus, it will be less to carry around, allowing more room for all the treats you’ll be collecting throughout the night. TIP: Bring an extra bag to store all the treats you collect throughout the night.  

    Douglas, I recommend reading through all of the costume guidelines as you prepare your costume. I’m sure it’s going to be practically perfect in every way.
