Hi Quentara,
Welcome back to planDisney! It’s always a pleasure getting to chat with a fellow Floridian!
Quentara, typically, picking up a to-go or mobile order by itself does not grant parking access at a
Disney Resort hotel. Resort parking is usually reserved for guests who are staying at that resort or those who have a confirmed
table-service dining reservation. In my experience, when I’ve arrived at the security gate, the Cast Member will usually ask if I’m a resort guest or if I have a dining reservation before allowing me to park. Especially the resorts closest to EPCOT and Magic Kingdom. However, there are some options if you want to enjoy a tasty, quick-service meal at a Disney resort hotel.
If you’re hoping to grab something from a quick-service location or picking up a mobile order, an easy option is to get there using Disney transportation or a rideshare service. That way, you can swing in, grab your delicious Disney food, and be on your way without worrying about parking access.
One little pro-tip: If you do happen to make a table-service reservation at a resort restaurant, you can absolutely park at that resort for your meal. I love exploring all the different resorts and trying new themed restaurants with each visit. From delectable African cuisine at restaurants like
Sanaa at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, to Caribbean-inspired goodness at
Sebastian’s Bistro at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, where you will eat until your heart’s content with the family-style service, you really can’t go wrong with a special meal at a resort hotel!
I hope that helps make your planning a little easier, Quentara. If more Disney questions pop up along the way, come see us again. It’s our pleasure to make your visit extra magical!
See ya real soon,
Emille!
