Aloha Amber!
Thanks for stopping by with a question about your upcoming stay at
Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa. My family fell in love with the resort and can't wait to return! This breathtaking resort perfectly weaves the vibrant Hawaiian culture with the magic and detail of Disney storytelling. There’s truly so much to discover and enjoy!
There is so much to do in the
Waikolohe Valley Pool area, whether you're looking for some adrenaline while riding one of the two Rapid adventures (Volcanic Vertical and Tubestone Curl), splashing in the water at Menehune Bridge (for Guests under 48" tall) or floating down the Waikolohe Stream on a tube. My family couldn't spend enough time enjoying the pools and slides!
When you head to the pool, I recommend keeping any valuables in your room. The layout of the resort towers means that no room is too far from the pools and lagoon! If you'd like to leave items like sandals and towels, there are shelves/cubbies located near the towel counter locations.
While you’re at Aulani, I recommend stopping by the
Pau Hana Room - Community Hall early in your stay. It’s a great spot to sign up for all kinds of fun activities like ukulele lessons, making your own Aulani-inspired Mickey Ears, Kāpala Ki‘i (a T-shirt stamping activity), the
Menehune Adventure Trail - my daughters insist on doing this one at night for a little extra magic. When you’re planning your days, be sure to check the Aulani ‘Iwa, the resort’s weekly schedule. It’s your go-to guide for Character Meets, fitness classes, fish-feeding times at Rainbow Reef, and so much more!
I hope you have the most wonderful stay at Aulani. Have a great time making memories in paradise! If you have any other questions, please swing by planDisney again - we're happy to help.
Adventure awaits,
Candace
