Welcome to planDisney! One of my favorite things about the holidays at Walt Disney World Resort is the stunning decorations at the resort hotels. From the gorgeous gingerbread animals at Animal Kingdom Lodge to the grandeur of Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, no one decorates better than Imagineers and Cast Members.
I love the idea of visiting Fort Wilderness to check out the decorations. They really do bring a unique flair to the holidays. I reached out to a Cast Member to confirm, and unfortunately, unless you are a Guest at Fort Wilderness Campgrounds, you cannot
rent a golf cart to explore the property. They have a limited number, so they reserve them for Guests staying there. If you are looking for a fun way to explore the campgrounds, I do have good news for you! Check out the Enchanting Extras Collection! During the holidays, they offer
Holiday Sleigh Rides that take you around the Cabins and Campsites so that you can take in all the beautiful holiday magic. The rides are only 25 minutes long (perfect for small children’s attention spans), and they start over at the
Tri-Circle-D Ranch barn.
