Parade at Magic Kingdom

    Good morning, We are heading to Disney 8/8-8/9 and I was looking for the list of parades but on all the events it shows nothing for either day. Is there parades on this dates. I am looking for Animal Kingdom on the 8th and Magic Kingdom on the 9th.

    Hey there, Dawn! Thanks for stopping by planDisney and sharing your question with us. 

    It looks like the Walt Disney World Hours and Events Calendar may not have been updated yet, or there was a glitch in the internet (Thanks, Ralph), but I’m happy to report that there are parades scheduled at the Magic Kingdom for both August 8 and 9, 2025. While schedules and availability are subject to change, the Festival of Fantasy Parade is scheduled for 3 PM, and the new Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away is at 9 PM and 11 PM on both days. 

    There are no parades currently at Animal Kingdom, but there are some great shows that feature all the fun and spectacle of a Walt Disney World parade. Not only does Festival of the Lion King feature stunning costumes and acrobatic performances, but there are multiple parade-type floats that move in and out of the theater space. And Finding Nemo: The Big Blue... and Beyond!, a musical stage show, includes large puppets and moving contraptions similar to what you might see at the parades. If there is news of any parades returning to Animal Kingdom, the Disney Parks Blog will be your best source for news and updates.
