Hi Teresa!
Welcome to planDisney! I'm delighted you stopped by for ideas to plan the perfect royal celebration for your granddaughter. A birthday fit for a princess? Let's get started!
Teresa, while Walt Disney World Resort does have
special event planning available, they don't offer traditional birthday party packages. However, that doesn't mean that you won't find plenty of magical ways to celebrate.
My first recommendation would be to reserve a character dining experience.
Cinderella's Royal Table and
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall both offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner, complete with visits from several princesses while you dine. Another option to consider would be
1900 Park Fare, which is open for breakfast and dinner at
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, and includes some royal characters as well!
Advanced dining reservations are available online or in your
My Disney Experience Mobile App beginning
60 days before your check-in date if you're staying at a hotel in the
Disney Resorts Collection, or 60 days before your desired dining reservation if you're staying elsewhere. When you make your dining reservation, you can even
order a celebration cake!
Another special way to celebrate is to plan a visit to the
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. Located inside
Magic Kingdom Park, this makeover experience gives every child the royal treatment. You can choose to book a makeover package that includes a dress, or you can bring your own from home. Just like dining reservations, you can book the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and other
Enchanting Extras 60 days before your vacation. These reservations are very popular and often fill quickly, so I'd recommend being ready to book as soon as they are available.
You may also want to take a look at
Magical Floral and Gifts - special surprises that can be delivered right to your resort hotel room! Speaking of your resort, don't forget to pick up a complimentary birthday button for your young princess when you check in. It's the perfect way to share her magical celebration during your trip.
There are so many ways to celebrate at Walt Disney World Resort, Teresa, and I hope this has been helpful as you start planning. If you'd like more ideas or have any other questions, please stop by to see us again!
Cheers,
Kristi
