We are a group of 4 adults who would like to visit the park in early April 2026. We will be based in London. Is it possible to do a one day trip from London to Disneyland Park and return in one day? And who would I book this through?

    Salut!

Welcome to planDisney, Fiona! It sounds like you have an exciting trip to the UK coming up next spring, which is the perfect time to visit. The weather starts to brighten up, but the sunsets are still early enough to enjoy the nightscapes without having to stay up too late!

As a Guest from the UK myself, I love how close we are to the magic of Disneyland Paris. There are several ways to visit from here - by air, rail, or road. By air, I recommend looking at flights from London Luton to Charles de Gaulle, as these tend to be the most frequent. By rail, you can travel via Eurostar, though there’s no longer a direct route, so you’ll need to change trains. From my experience, Lille is the easiest place to change, as it’s very straightforward to navigate. More often than not, our family chooses to drive via Le Shuttle, as it gives us the freedom to stop for a break or a meal with our children.

Disneyland Paris has so much to offer, and there’s nothing quite like experiencing it both in the daytime and illuminated at night. It truly feels like two completely different parks. Due to the international nature of the trip, I would estimate at least a four-hour journey time from London to Disneyland Paris. This doesn’t account for the time difference, so you may have limited time to enjoy the parks if visiting for just a day.

If you can, I highly recommend exploring the Hotel + Ticket Packages available directly through Disneyland Paris. These offer great value, with heavily discounted Disney Park tickets for the length of your stay, access to Extra Magic Time, and hotels within walking distance of the parks. Even a one-night stay gives you much better access to the magic, and the chance to explore both Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park (soon to be Disney Adventure World). If you’re really lucky, you may even get to experience the brand-new World of Frozen area opening in Disney Adventure World during the spring of next year - although an exact date hasn’t yet been announced.

I hope this helps with your planning, Fiona, and that however you choose to visit Disneyland Paris, it’s every bit as magical as I find it each time I go! For me, even a few hours in a Disney Park is better than almost anywhere else in the world! If you have any more questions as you plan your trip, please reach out to me. I'd love to help!

See you on Main Street, Paris!
