Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, Jennifer!
Welcome to planDisney! We are DELIGHTED you stopped by and are honored to help you plan your upcoming trip to
Disney World! AND...you are heading to the "Most MAGICAL Place on Earth" during the "Most Wonderful Time of the Year!" The parks sparkle with holiday lights, the music is festive, and there’s just something extra special in the air as the year winds down and a new one begins. From the decorations on Main Street to the smell of peppermint treats drifting through the air, it’s pure Christmas magic everywhere you turn.
You have picked the BEST and most enchanting week to visit, as the sweet spot between Christmas and New Year’s is one of the most dazzling times to see the skies above
Magic Kingdom light up. Last year,
Happily Ever After took a short holiday break during this timeframe to make room for special seasonal fireworks that took center stage. Last year, Magic Kingdom replaced its regular nighttime spectacular with
Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks — a joyful show filled with Christmas music, castle projections, and a grand finale that turned Main Street, U.S.A. into a winter wonderland. Then, on December 30 and 31, the park featured
Fantasy in the Sky, the dazzling New Year’s Eve fireworks that happened twice each night.
After all the confetti settled, Happily Ever After returned on January 1, picking up right where it left off with its classic soundtrack and breathtaking fireworks over Cinderella Castle.
It’s important to note, however, that this schedule is based on Disney's 2024 schedule, and the official 2025 schedule hasn’t been released yet. Disney sometimes makes minor changes to showtimes or dates, so it’s always smart to check out the
Disney Parks Blog for the most up-to-date information regarding Mickey's holiday plans coming very soon!
If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask. We are here to help in any way!
Have a MAGICAL day!
