If you booked a Disney World vacation package (resort hotel stay plus tickets), you’ll typically get a packet of magical extras in the mail a few weeks before your check-in date. This usually contains luggage tags, a savings card, and vouchers for mini golf, although the offerings are always changing. If the packet doesn’t come before you leave, you can often pick one up at your resort hotel’s front desk.
Now, let’s chat about your trip! You’re going to be at Disney World during the merriest time of the year, when the theme parks and resort hotels are decorated in sparkling decorations. Definitely check out the incredible gingerbread display right at your resort hotel. At the
Contemporary, the replica of Cinderella Castle features 14 hidden Mickeys this year! There’s also a kiosk nearby selling delicious holiday treats.
And the
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays will also be underway during your trip. Some of my festival must-dos are learning about holiday traditions around the world through the Holiday Storytellers, listening to
Voices of Liberty sing seasonal songs, and, of course, trying all of the food at the Holiday Kitchen booths! You can start planning your snacking strategy with the

And don’t forget, since you’re staying at the Contemporary, you get even more time to enjoy the magic! As a Disney resort hotel guest, you can enter the theme parks 30 minutes before other guests with
Early Theme Park Entry. My family loves to take advantage of the lower wait times, especially on days when Magic Kingdom closes early for
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party! And since you’re staying at a Deluxe Resort hotel, you’ll also get access to
Extended Evening Theme Park Hours. As a night owl, I love this special perk!
