Hello I’m planning to visit Disneyland Paris on October 30, 2025. I’d like to book a reserved seat for the Illuminations show — do you know when the October block will become available?

Hi Kim and bienvenue to planDisney!

How exciting that you're planning a visit to Disneyland Paris and at my favourite time of the year, too, during the Disney Halloween Festival! In addition to all of the amazing attractions, shows and nighttime entertainment usually on offer, you'll also be able to see Mickey's Halloween Celebration Parade and meet Disney characters dressed in their bewitching best, including Disney Villains and the Pumpkin King himself, Jack Skellington.

As you'll be travelling during a busy time of year, it is a smart move to consider booking a reserved viewing area for the nighttime show. I reached out to a Disney Agent via the Live Chat function on the Disneyland Paris App who confirmed that at this time, it is only possible to book this Magical Extra for dates through September 2025. They advised that they should have more information about the next release in September.

Top Tip - The Live Chat function can be accessed by clicking on "Ask your question" in the blue box that says "Need help?" which pops up while you are browsing the Disneyland Paris website and/or Disneyland Paris App.

My best advice would be to keep checking regularly between now and the beginning of September just incase things change and bookings for dates in October are released earlier than is anticipated, right now.

Above all else, try not to worry too much as there are lots of great places to watch the nighttime show from outside of the reserved viewing area. I'll let you into a little secret, my family usually stand behind the low railings, in the castle hub area, facing Sleeping Beauty Castle, closest to the walkway towards Frontierland. This is a great spot as no-one can stand in front of you and there are no trees obscuring your view. I would, however, recommend getting there at least an hour before the start of the show, in order to secure your space.

I hope that this information has been of help, Kim. Please do not hesitate to re-visit us, here at planDisney, if we can be of any further assistance with the planning of your trip.

Wishing you a magical holiday filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
