Hey there, Jonathan, and welcome to planDisney! We’re so happy you stopped by to bring us your question.
I’m thrilled to learn you’re planning a visit to my favorite place on earth: Magic Kingdom! A full day at Magic, capped off with the dazzling nighttime fireworks and the new parade,
Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away, sounds like the best day
ever!
Jonathan, I just checked, and it looks like the
park schedule for your date is currently posted for Magic Kingdom, which I know is super helpful for all your planning. However, the official times for the shows and entertainment don’t get posted until closer to your dates. It’s also important to keep in mind that they are always subject to change.
Recently, the schedule has shown two chances to catch the dazzling Starlight Parade, with
Happily Ever After lighting up the sky in between. While this can change, it’s a great pattern to keep in mind as you plan your magical evening!
My top tip is to keep your eye on the My Disney Experience app, or on the website as your date approaches. When you search under “
Entertainment,” you’ll find the latest showtimes.
Here’s a little tip I swear by: pick your spot on Main Street, near Cinderella Castle, about 30 to 45 minutes before the parade or fireworks begin. You’ll soak in the atmosphere, hear the music building, and be perfectly placed when the magic starts. I usually grab some of those legendary corn nuggets from
Casey's Corner to enjoy while I wait. It doesn’t get better than people watching at the hub with some tasty, and iconic, Disney bites!
I can’t wait for you to experience that moment when the floats glide by, the lights shimmer, and the sky bursts into color overhead. It’s pure Disney joy, the kind of memory that lights up your heart just as bright as the castle.
Wishing you a night full of sparkle, laughter, and so much pixie dust.
