Hi ya, Michelle!
Welcome to planDisney, we are so happy to hear from you and even happier to hear that you have an upcoming visit to Walt Disney World! I am also loving your dining location selection.
Steak House 71 is an excellent choice! My family has yet to experience dinner there, but both breakfast and lunch there have been a family favorite.
The best news is, yes, you can pay using a
Disney Gift Card while dining there. I personally love visiting Walt Disney World Resort with a Disney Gift Card because of how convenient and universal they are. Plus, a Disney Gift Card helps me stay on budget, especially since once I step onto Disney property, my brain automatically switches to “
treat yourself” mode. So using a gift card that I've preloaded helps me stick to my budget.
Although my husband often does a fantastic job of keeping his eyes on me and surprising me with the souvenir I “put back” during our trips. It helps with the post-Disney blues, too. And in his eyes, it saves money because he believes the souvenir will keep me distracted from booking our next visit with the
bounce-back offer. Unfortunately, his plan has yet to be successful, as I already have our spring break visit booked with that offer from our last visit earlier this month.
It’s balanced in my eyes. I budget and plan with a Disney Gift Card, which helps me save for my next visit. Then the process repeats. Don’t forget to register your gift card online so that you can
check the balance at any time and even reload it if you need to!
Michelle, I hope this helps answer your question. Have the best visit and see ya real soon.
Happy Shopping!
