To modify your
Disneyland Resort Hotel reservation, I'd recommend calling
Guest Services and speaking to a Cast Member directly. They will be able to let you know if adding a Guest to your room is possible with your current room selection and if it requires any changes to your reservation, including room rate. I have done this at the front desk as well during a visit when a friend decided to join me halfway through my trip, but I'm sure you are hoping to get your Disneyland ducks in a row ahead of time. Plus, you'll want to ensure that everyone has a comfortable place to sleep so you can make the most of your magical minutes in the parks!
You are in luck because Guests staying at the Disneyland Resort Hotels have access to
Early Entry until January 4, 2026! You are still able to take advantage of this pixie-dusted perk! I know when my kids were small, they were up early, and this was a fantastic way to harness that early bird energy. Depending on the day, either Disneyland Park or California Adventure will open 30 minutes early just for hotel guests. Be sure to check the theme park calendar, which includes Park Hours, to note which park opens early on which day. You'll want to make sure your theme park reservations align to have access. When you approach the Main Entrance Gates, there will be a line clearly marked for Early Entry Guests. Not all attractions are open during this time, so I highly recommend taking a read through the
options so you can plan out your morning.
