My hotel stay is May 11–15, 2026 and I already have park tickets. Can I arrive at 6 AM on check-in day to check in, store my luggage, and go to the parks in time for the 8 AM opening? Thank you !!!

Welcome back to planDisney, Li Xian! Your visit to the Disneyland Resort will be here before you know it (and that early-morning excitement is such a relatable feeling). Let’s chat about how to make the most of your arrival day so you can get right into the magic as soon as you reach the resort.

If you’re staying at one of the Disneyland Resort Hotels (Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel, the Disneyland Hotel, or Pixar Place Hotel), you’ll be able to use the complimentary luggage storage at the bell desk on both your check-in and check-out days. You can drop off your bags first thing in the morning before heading straight to the parks. It’s a wonderfully convenient option (especially if your room isn’t quite ready yet when you arrive).

If you’re not staying at a Disneyland Resort Hotel, here’s a helpful Q-Tip: Locker rentals are available in the Esplanade (that central area between Disneyland and Disney California Adventure) as well as inside both theme parks. There are two locker locations in the Esplanade: one to the left of the Disneyland entrance and another to the left of the Disney California Adventure entrance. These Esplanade lockers come in five sizes: Small (9.5” wide x 11” tall x 18” deep); Medium (12.5” wide x 17” tall x 18” deep); Large (15” wide x 16.6” tall x 22.6” deep); Extra-large (15” wide x 23” tall x 22.6” deep); and Jumbo (18” wide x 25” high x 37” deep).

Locker prices vary by size, and inside the parks you’ll find additional locker stations on Main Street and Buena Vista Street (those two locations only offer small and medium sizes).

The Esplanade locker stations follow regular park hours, and overnight storage isn’t available. Since you’ll go through security before reaching them, you can use any of the three checkpoints: Downtown Disney, Harbor Boulevard, or the entrance through Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel. Security may ask to inspect your luggage or carry-on items, so keeping things easy to access is always helpful.

Li Xian, I hope this helps smooth out the details so your arrival day feels effortless and magical. If you have more questions as your trip gets closer, please visit us again anytime at planDisney.

Have a fantastic vacation filled with magical moments!
