Hey there, Donna! Welcome back to planDisney. We just love to see you back with another great question for us!
You had me at Disneyland food! As a Magic Key holder who gets to visit often, I love that I can always count on my staples, like popcorn, to always be there, but that there's also always new food to try! I will share that because I visit often, my visits are also usually last-minute and I don't go in with dining plans. The
Disneyland app will be your best friend for any last-minute dining. You can use the app to mobile order something off your
Halloween Time Foodie Guide list!
Mobile ordering is my favorite feature on the app by far. I also recommend keeping an eye on reservations for any table service locations you hope to visit. I have found great success in checking for reservations the night before my visit or even the day of since Guests tend to wait until the very last minute to solidify plans. My last tip is that if all else fails, see if the location participates in the
mobile walk up list. I search for that in the app first, and if it's full or the location doesn't participate, I will head to that location just to double-check with the host to see if they are accepting any same day reservations.
Don't forget to think outside of the parks! You don't need to be a Guest of the resort hotels to enjoy the dining locations! I love a break from the parks at Tangaroa Terrace or GCH Craftsman Bar. I also think one of the character dining buffet options at
Storytellers Cafe would be a fabulous way to celebrate after your race!
Donna, thanks so much for stopping by! You know where to find us for the next one! Sending all the pixie dust for a magical race!
