Heya, hiya, Ed! Welcome to planDisney, and greetings from a fellow
Magic Key holder!
What a delight that you’re planning a magical getaway with your grandchildren—those moments together are bound to be treasured for years to come. The best way to book tickets for them is right on the
Disneyland website’s tickets page. From there, you can select the number of tickets you’ll need, and choose between the One Park Per Day option or the
Park Hopper option. Since you’re already used to the flexibility of park hopping with your Magic Key passes, the Park Hopper tickets might feel especially familiar and fun. When purchasing tickets online, you’ll also be prompted to make
park reservations at the same time. Just don’t forget—you’ll want to make separate reservations with your Magic Key passes too, so your whole party is set to enter the parks together.
You can also purchase tickets directly in the
Disneyland mobile app. Simply open the app, tap the plus (+) sign in the bottom menu, and select “Buy Tickets & Passes.” If you’d like to stay overnight at a
Disneyland Resort hotel, there’s even more magic waiting! Right now, Magic Key holders can save on select hotel stays Sunday to Thursday nights when booking through December 16, 2025. Staying in the middle of the magic is such a special treat, with whimsical details and Disney touches around every corner. Be sure to check the
special offers page for all the details—it could be the perfect way to make this trip especially enchanting for your grandchildren.
And since these moments with your family will be memories you’ll want to treasure forever, I highly recommend taking advantage of
Disney PhotoPass service. You’ll find photographers throughout both parks who can capture those magical smiles for you, so you don’t have to worry about pulling out your phone or camera. All the photos link right to your Disneyland app, making it easy to download and share with your family. It’s such a wonderful way to be in the pictures together and create keepsakes you’ll cherish long after your visit.
One last tip, Ed—if your grandchildren love collecting magical souvenirs, be sure to stop by
Guest Relations in City Hall on Main Street, U.S.A. in Disneyland Park or at the Chamber of Commerce in Disney California Adventure Park to pick up a complimentary “First Visit” button or even an “I’m Celebrating” button. They’ll love the extra pixie dust it brings as Cast Members and Guests alike notice their special keepsakes.
I hope this helps you feel set for your upcoming visit. Wishing you and your family an enchanting adventure filled with laughter, wonder, and cherished memories together!
Have a magical visit!
