Welcome to planDisney, Sarah!
You sound like the ideal Aunt and very similar to my sister. She is so fun and always spoils my kids, her niece, and nephew. And just like you, she is also a Florida Resident. So, any chance we get, we make the drive down to see her and sneak in a visit to the theme parks as well. My kids know my sister is good for a Mickey-shaped treat with a little convincing. So it’s become routine for her to buy them a daily sweet treat.
Now, in regards to tickets,
Florida Resident offers are intended to be used by Florida Residents. So those using the theme park tickets will have to show a valid proof of
Florida Residency. In this case, their parents would need to be Florida residents to activate those tickets for the younger Mouseketeers.
Since they don’t have a Florida Residency, no worries. There are plenty of ways for your family members to still enjoy the magic of Walt Disney World Resort. I recommend heading over to the
Special Offers, Deals, and Discounts page first. There, you can find a variety of offers and savings. Hopefully, one of them is the perfect fit for your family’s visit.
Another great gift option would be a
Disney Gift Card! Then their parents can use that amount towards a
standard theme park ticket for their family to use. And no residency verification would be needed!
Sarah, I hope this helps answer your question so that you can find the best vacation option for your family. If there’s anything else we can help with, please let us know!
Enjoy the magic,
Shantel
