Well, hello there, neighbor!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney. Isn't it great being
Mickey's neighbor? Living in the Sunshine State is fabulous year-round, but having the chance to stop by the magic whenever you want at a discounted rate makes it even better!
As an
Annual Passholder, you receive discounts on a bunch of things! Specially-themed merchandise, dining and
event discounts, and even discounts on Resort hotels are among the fabulous perks of being a Passholder. There are discounts on 1-Day Water Park tickets and
Disney After Hours events, but there are no Annual Passholder discounts on single-day Theme Park Tickets.
But! If you are buying tickets for a member of your household, it pays to be Mickey's neighbor! Florida residents can purchase a
Discover Disney ticket, which is a multi-day (3 or 4 days) ticket. And, as you know, you get discounts on various annual passes. So, I would take advantage of that and buy a discounted Discover Disney ticket so your family members can return for more fun.
To buy the discounted tickets, all you need to do is show
proof of Florida residency for whomever you are buying passes for (over the age of 18). That proof can come in a variety of forms; the easiest is a Florida-issued ID (either driver's license, state-issued, or military ID). If they don't have a state-issued ID, you can use:
• Bills, Policies, or Registration (i.e., automobile registration, insurance policy, or statement from utilities, insurance, etc. Note that the bills can be no more than two months old).
• Mail from a certified institution such as a bank or federal or state agency with their name and address.
Current statements and bills that are printed from an electronic version or via smartphones are acceptable.
Cassandra, I hope you enjoy your visit to the magic with your family. Here's to a great, big, beautiful tomorrow!
