Hi, I'm arriving Sunday at the Boardwalk, we used to be able to pre-order groceries to be sent to our room, is that still an option?

Greetings, Kimberly! Thank you so much for coming to planDisney with this beachy vacation question.

You'll be arriving for fun in the sun at Disney's BoardWalk Inn soon, and it sounds like you're dreaming of having supplies waiting when you arrive. That's a fabulous plan! Let's look at your options for grocery delivery during your stay at the Walt Disney World Resort.

I'm happy to let you know you can order groceries from any delivery service you choose. Many local stores, such as Publix, offer delivery, so I recommend searching online to find the option that works best for you. My tip is to place your order a day or two early, specifying your desired delivery date and window.

As you select your items, keep in mind that if you plan to have Bell Services accept your delivery, the order cannot contain anything that requires an ID, such as tobacco or alcohol. I'd also recommend ordering only a few perishable items, since refrigerated space with Bell Services and in your room could be limited.

If your items arrive before you, Bell Services will hold them until you get there. You can take them to your room for free, or Bell Services will deliver them for a fee. You can find current delivery information and pricing on the Mail Services page.

Resort addresses and GPS coordinates can be tricky, so my tip is to include the name of Disney's BoardWalk Inn on your order. You can find the address on the resort's landing page, and be sure to add the lead guest's name on the order. I typically include the time I'll be arriving at the resort and my phone number; there's often a "Notes" section when you place an order. In my experience, you can't include too much information!

Kimberly, I hope your visit is full of fun and food! And if you run out of groceries, you can always swing by the Pizza Window at Disney's BoardWalk for a Super Slice! Feel free to visit planDisney again.

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
