I'm Celebrating my 40th Birthday in Disneyland, will be celebrating 8/22 8/23, will I still be able to see the Paint Night Parade and the World Color Happiness Show? I've seen conflicting information about Halloween starting already at this time.

Hi Lindsay! Welcome to planDisney! Thanks so much for stopping by to send us your question!

The Happiest Place on Earth is the perfect place to celebrate your birthday, and I'm so excited for you! We don't yet know what the entertainment schedule will be during the Halloween season, but the 70th Anniversary entertainment offerings will likely pause to make way for Halloween entertainment. Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort arrives on August 22nd. The Daily Events Schedule is released approximately six weeks out. I suggest checking the schedule on the Disneyland website as the dates of your visit grow nearer. I love Paint the Night Parade and World of Color Happiness!, so I understand why you would want to see both of those entertainment offerings. I noticed your arrival date is on August 21st. If the dates of your visit are flexible, the 70th Anniversary Celebration entertainment should continue through August 21st.

Be sure to download the Disneyland Mobile App before you arrive. The app will give you quick and easy access to your Theme Park Tickets, attraction wait times, the entertainment schedule, and much more! You can also find a guide to the 70th Anniversary Celebration in the app.

If you have more planning questions, please stop by planDisney again. We can't wait for you to be our guest, and we would love to help!

    Wishing you magic,
    Lisa
