Hi Ian, and welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad you stopped by with your question. It's always smart to be prepared, just in case plans need to change.
Here’s the current cancellation policy for
Walt Disney World vacation packages:
30 days or more before arrival: You’ll receive a full refund of what you’ve paid, minus any cancellation fees from third-party hotels or suppliers, non-refundable
runDisney race registrations, travel protection plan costs, or anything else non-refundable.
2 to 29 days before arrival: You’ll get your money back minus a $200 cancellation fee per package and any of the non-refundable items mentioned above.
1 day or less before arrival or a no-show: Unfortunately, the full price of the package becomes non-refundable at this point.
Keep in mind that there are no refunds for:
Personalized products or experiences
Early departures from your hotel
Unused or partially used admission tickets, meals, or package features
For the most accurate and up-to-date details, I recommend checking the official
cancellation policy page on the
Walt Disney World website.
I hope everything goes smoothly and that you get to enjoy the magic of your trip as planned, but it’s always good to know your options just in case!
Let me know if you have any other questions as you prepare.
Toodles,
Korliss
