    I'm taking my daughter to disneyland for her 4th birthday. I wanted to do the Disney princess breakfast dinning but I keeps saying reservations are unavailable. Is this really that booked up or is it because of the closing? Looking for May 27

    Hi Maria, and welcome to planDisney! First of all, happy early birthday to your little one. My youngest will turn four this summer – it's such a special time! And a breakfast with Disney Princesses certainly sounds like the perfect way to celebrate.

    Maria, as you mentioned, Napa Rose restaurant is undergoing a renovation, which is expected to be completed in fall 2025. During this time, Princess Breakfast Adventures is using a temporary location at the Trillium Ballroom. This area can be found in the Grand Californian Hotel between the main entrance and the courtyard near the Downtown Disney District entrance.

    I just took a peek at the reservations on the Disneyland website and came across an opening for two people on May 27 in the morning. These tend to go quickly, so it may not still be there by the time you read this. However, new dining opportunities may be released anytime between 60 days and 1 day out, especially as plans change and reservations are modified. Just keep trying. You can also book a reservation on the Disneyland mobile app if that's more convenient for you than the website.

    Here's an alternative idea for you, Maria: Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique inside Disneyland is an enchanting experience for kids ages 3-12. Your little one can get the royal treatment with the help of a Fairy Godmother’s Apprentice. After finishing up there, you can go to Royal Hall to meet Disney Princesses and watch a performance at Royal Theatre. Plus, the end of May will be a fun time to visit Disneyland, since the 70th Anniversary Celebration starts just before. There will be festive decorations, colorful outfits for Mickey and his pals, exclusive merchandise, amazing entertainment offerings, and more. That could make for a very special birthday experience!
