Hi there, Karley, and welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for stopping by! I'm so happy that you're here with this great question about booking a stay at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel. There's nothing better than staying in the magic during your Walt Disney World Resort vacation.
Karley, you'll be happy to know that there are multiple Disney Resorts Collection hotels in the Deluxe Villa category. My family has had the pleasure of calling many of them "home" during our vacations, so I'd be thrilled to walk you through which ones might be best for your family. Since availability can change at a moment's notice, I'm unable to say which rooms will be available when you're ready to book. When I searched, I was able to find that some of the Resorts do still have some 2-bedroom Villas open during your desired dates.
Since you have a family member who'd appreciate having some privacy, you might consider a 2-bedroom Villa at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village or
Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort. The reason I mention these first is that the 2-bedroom Villas at these resorts offer three full bathrooms. At the other resorts, the Guests sleeping in the living space would have direct access to the shared bathroom with the primary (king) bedroom, or they'd need to walk through the other (queen/queen) bedroom to access a bathroom. Sharing a bathroom might not be a deal-breaker for your kids, but I wanted to make sure you knew about those options in case it would make your vacation even more seamless. My family loves having that third bathroom!
When it comes to resorts that appeal to a large age range, here are some of my favorites:
- Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge is just a boat ride away from Magic Kingdom Park, but you'll feel like you're out west! The grounds here are immaculate and offer beautiful walking trails and great pools. My kids especially love the activities area near the water's edge where they can play foosball while the adults enjoy a cocktail from Geyser Point Bar & Grill. An added bonus is that you can also see the Electrical Water Pageant and the fireworks from Magic Kingdom in this area!
- Disney's Beach Club Villas is located right at the back entrance of EPCOT and is steps away from the BoardWalk area, where there's always something fun going on. The pool - Stormalong Bay - is incredible and features a sand-bottom pool and awesome waterslide. There's a room on the main floor where your family can hang out and play games, and lots of quieter seating areas for those who want to relax. Being so close to the Skyliner means it'll be easy to get around during your visit.
- Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa is a large resort with gorgeous grounds to explore, and you're a short boat ride away from Disney Springs. The pool is beautiful, and there are some great dining options. My kids loved the pull-down beds in the living space!
You can't go wrong with any choice, and you'll love having a full kitchen, washer and dryer, and lots of thoughtful storage space in your 2-bedroom Villa. If you have any other questions, you have a friend in me! Stop by anytime!
See ya real soon,
Jennifer
