Ahoy there, Alexis!
Thank you for reaching out about planning your first magical voyage with Disney Cruise Line. I love that you're considering a 4-night cruise because that's a great length for a first-time experience. March is also an excellent time to visit the
Bahamas, with average high temperatures in the low 80s. So you are off to a fantastic start with your cruise plans.
Although I've stayed in all areas of the ship, my family's favorite location is midship on decks 6, 7, or 8. This location is not only convenient to the stairs and elevators, but puts you about the same distance from the pool deck and dining venues. Also, midship is the place you typically feel less motion. To get a look at current pricing, navigate to the
Disney Cruise Line website, select "Plan a Cruise," then click "Find a Cruise." This is where you'll enter your number of Guests, the desired time frame to sail, the port of departure, and the sailing location. This search will give you your cruise options, and you'll be able to select"View Staterooms" to see pricing. There is also a "
Connecting Stateroom" toggle switch that you will switch on to see what is available for that particular sailing. You can also
call Disney Cruise Line at 1(800) 951-3532 to speak with an agent about availability and pricing. They are open Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 10 pm and 9:00 am to 8:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday (EST).
Alexis, your sailors are the perfect ages to enjoy the fabulous
youth clubs, which I hope will also allow time for the
adult-only offerings. This balance of offerings brought my family back to DCL again and again when my children were younger. Everyone felt like they disembarked the ship with the best vacation memories!
It was a pleasure helping you, Alexis. Please keep us in mind as you continue to plan for an exciting adventure with Captains Mickey and Minnie!
