Using a
MagicBand is one of my favorite things about our vacations at Walt Disney World. There's just something about leaving my Disney Resort room in the morning, traveling light and ready to hit the parks... knowing all I need is my MagicBand! Once linked to your My Disney account, it works for entry into the parks, charging food and merchandise, tapping in to any Lightning Lane Pass reservations, claiming PhotoPass photographer's snaps, and even opening your hotel door when you return to your Disney Resort. It really adds to that sensation of being in a carefree "magical bubble" at Disney!
You can check to see if your MagicBand is linked to your account a couple of different ways. One is to go online to Disney's website, and check under
My MagicBands & Cards, scroll down to Manage MagicBands or Cards. Under each guest name, it will list all of their linked MagicBands. If you don't see yours listed, just scroll to the bottom and you'll find the option to Link a MagicBand.
The second way you can verifying whether your MagicBand is linked is inside the
My Disney Experience app. From the home screen, select the "☰" menu icon in the lower right, scroll down to Account - MagicBands & Cards, then click on a guest name to view all linked MagicBands. Again, if you don't see yours listed you can easily click the "+ Link" button to add it.
