Welcome, Wells!
We're so happy you stopped by planDisney with your question. With your visit just two days away, I'm sure you are hoping to put the finishing touches on your planning, especially how to make your grand arrival at the Disneyland Resort from LAX. I have done this journey many times, so let's take a look at your options.
While there is no official Disney-operated transfer service from LAX to the resort, there are
some options to consider. Disney recommends the Karmel Connect Service, which offers a range of vehicles and sizes depending on your party size and luggage needs, and can be reserved ahead of time. In fact, this is recommended. I have personally used Rideshare services, which have been seamless, round-trip between the resort and LAX, and did not require an advanced reservation. Alternatively, the Los Angeles Metro offers a route via bus and rail as well.
It sounds like you may be arriving for a multi-day visit! If you are staying at a
Disneyland Resort Hotel, I highly recommend taking advantage of
Early Entry, which is 30 magical minutes in the parks ahead of park opening. Early Entry is available in one park per day, so you'll want to check the
Park Hours ahead of time to know if Disneyland or California Adventure is offering this special perk. Currently, Disneyland Park offers it on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, while California Adventure opens early on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday (subject to change). You'll also want to ensure that your theme park reservations align with the park offering Early Entry on each day. If you need to make any
changes to your reservations, this can be easily done in the Disneyland App by tapping the "+" in the bottom navigation bar and selecting "Mark a Park Reservation". You will see the option to modify on the following screen, and you can follow the instructions from there.
Wells, I hope this has helped navigate your way to the magic. If you have any more questions along the way, or just need a friendly tip or two, we are always here for you at
planDisney.
See ya real soon!
