Hello there Alexus,
Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for bringing us your question today. Sounds like you plan to visit the Most Magical Place on Earth... woo hoo!
When you purchase Disney World
theme park admission tickets, they are valid for the full day. And yes, you can absolutely leave and reenter the park again that same day! When buying a one day ticket, you'll be asked to select a date and which of the four Disney theme parks you plan to visit. Prices vary a little bit by date.
Pro tip: lower priced dates typically correspond to lower crowds!
My family sometimes leaves and reenters when we have an evening dining reservation somewhere outside the park. Especially when the parks are open late, it's nice to be able to leave for a midday break. On our last vacation we left Magic Kingdom in the early evening, rode the monorail over to the Polynesian to eat at our favorite restaurant
'Ohana, then rode the monorail back to Magic Kingdom in time to watch Happily Ever After fireworks. It was a practically perfect day!
One last recommendation before I go! Be sure to install the
My Disney Experience app before your visit. Once you link your park ticket, you can use
MagicMobile on your phone for theme park entry... and so much more! The app is so helpful for managing your park day. Use it for checking attraction wait times, placing a
mobile food order at quick-service dining locations (to skip the standby line), or using the maps to navigate the park.
Enjoy every moment of your magical day, Alexus! Please let planDisney know if we can help answer any additional questions you may have.
Adventure is out there!
