Hi there, Brenda,
Your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth is just days away! It sounds like you are visiting with a large group. There is no better place to make magical memories and capture unforgettable moments. Now, let's take a look at your question so you have everything in place ahead of your Disneyland day.
It sounds like you are the planner in your group - you've come to the right place as most of us planDisney panelists also take on this role! The quick answer is "yes"! You'll want to ensure that everyone has downloaded the
Disneyland app and is logged into their own account. If they have purchased their own ticket, they will have already created one. Even if you have tickets linked to your account for other Guests, as long as they are logged into the app under their own Disneyland account, their credit card on file will be charged for any purchases made, including mobile order or even a Lightning Lane Single Pass.
Let's get all those
tickets linked to ensure a smooth entry into the parks. In order to book
Lightning Lanes for your group, you will need to link the theme park tickets to your account in the Disneyland Mobile App. The reservations are attached to those tickets, so you will not need to link those separately. You can do this ahead of time by heading into the app and tapping the three-line icon in the bottom right-hand corner and selecting "My Tickets & Passes". Next, tap the "+" in the top right corner, and you will see the option to "Link Tickets & Passes". From here, you can manually type in the ID for each ticket if you'd like to get everything set up ahead of time, otherwise you can scan the barcode from your friend's app or even just tap their MagicBand+ once you are together. From here, you should be good to go to book those Lightning Lanes for everyone once your full group scans into the parks.
I can see that you are planning to visit on Thursday, February 13th. Without knowing too much about your plans, I did want to put on your radar that Disneyland Park will close to Guests with standard theme park tickets at 8:00 PM for a specially ticketed event -
Sweetheart's Nite. The good news is that if you have Park Hopper tickets, you can jump over to California Adventure which is currently scheduled to remain open until 10:00 PM. While you are in planning mode, I highly recommend taking a peek at the
Park Hours & Entertainment Schedule to help map out your visit.
Brenda, I sure hope this was helpful in your planning. If you have any more questions or a follow-up, you know where to find us here at
planDisney.
Magic awaits!
