Hi Jill!
Welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad you stopped by with your question. Sounds like you're thinking about a visit to the Happiest Place on Earth in 2026! Love that!
Before any visit to Disneyland, I always want to know which attractions might be unavailable to experience while I'm there. This helps alleviate any disappointments, especially for my young kids but, let's be honest, me too. Your question is a good one, Jill!
Dates are released for attraction closures six weeks out and are available on the
Daily Events Schedule, so it's a little too early, at this time, to know for 2026. I encourage you to check back to the Daily Events Schedule on the Disneyland website as your date gets closer and scroll down to "Closed for Refurbishment" to see any attractions that may be closed during your visit. It's important to know, however, that closures can change at any time.
The Daily Events Schedule not only provides updated closure information, but much more including park hours, entertainment offerings, and any events that may be occurring during your visit. Make sure you've selected your specific dates and park at the top.
To stay updated on all the enhancements coming to Disneyland Resort, you may want to check in on the
Disneyland website from time to time and view the exciting changes coming up. This may also include construction updates and closures.
While much at Disneyland Resort remains a magical mystery, we do know that
Disneyland's 70th Celebration will be running through summer 2026 and that is good news because there is so much to experience. Disney went all out on this party of the decade, including incredible entertainment and, my favorite,
Paint the Night. It's definitely got the wow factor!
Sometimes part of the magic of a Disneyland vacation is the dreaming and planning along the way, Jill, as you anticipate the incredible memories you'll be making. At least this has been my experience. Then, when you've finally arrived, after months of imagining, and you're walking down Main Street with Sleeping Beauty Castle in the distance, there will be nothing left but to
Celebrate Happy.
I'm so thrilled for you, Jill! As you continue your dreaming and planning,
stop by with another question anytime! You've got a friend in me.
Your pal,
McCayla
