how long does it take to walk to the boathouse from the Disney Springs entrance?

Welcome to planDisney, Terrie! Thanks for sharing your question with us.

It looks like your Walt Disney World vacation is just a few weeks away. Woo hoo! You’ll be immersed in the magic and enjoying everything the Vacation Kingdom of the World has to offer before you know it.

I’m always happy to help people navigate Walt Disney World. My first piece of advice is to make sure you have the My Disney Experience app downloaded to your mobile device. Not only does it help you manage your tickets and make reservations, but it also provides step-by-step directions to most locations around Walt Disney World.

Disney Springs doesn’t have a single main entrance, so your exact walking times will vary depending on where you enter, but three of the more common entrances are probably the resort bus stop at Town Center, the Lime Garage, and the Orange Garage.

At the time I’m writing this, the My Disney Experience app estimates the walk to The Boathouse to be:

    - Town Center Bus Stop: 12 minutes
    - From Lime Garage: 4 minutes
    - From Orange Garage: 11 minutes

It’s important to remember that estimated travel times may differ on the day or time of day you visit, as well as other factors like specific entrances being open or closed, or garages being at capacity. You’ll definitely want to check the suggested directions closer before you arrive.

I hope this information is helpful, Terrie, and that you have a wonderful time enjoying the winter holiday festivities at Disney Springs and Walt Disney World. Many dining locations—including Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar, one of my favorites—will have special holiday offerings during your visit

Pop right back if you have any other trip planning questions. Your planDisney pals are always happy to help!

    Magical travels!
