I am looking for feedback on my park plans. We are arriving at night on Wed. 3/25 and departing on the morning of Tues. 3/31. We have a 4 day park ticket (non hopper). I have a 2&4 y.o. Thurs. - MK Fri. - Epcot Sat. - No park Sun. - MK Mon. - AK

Howdy, Heather, and welcome back to planDisney! I'm a father of two young children myself, and my wife and I are always mindful about planning our itinerary to ensure everyone has enough time to rest and recover in between all the adventure! I'm happy to offer some tips and suggestions to help you plan your visit to Walt Disney World Resort.

To start, I think 4 park days spread out over a week is a pretty good plan. I like that you have a rest day built into your itinerary here, as that will be a good time to relax, enjoy the resort, and do something special like a character meal outside of the parks. My top recommendation is Minnie's Beach Bash Breakfast at Cape May Cafe. My kids absolutely loved seeing Minnie, Donald, Daisy, and Goofy in their beachy attire, and there were tons of options on the buffet for us all to enjoy, including Mickey-shaped Waffles! Our server took tons of photos for us, and the characters made the rounds to the tables throughout the restaurant a few times during our meal.

If you're looking for attractions and experiences for your young ones, there's a fantastic planning page for preschoolers and their families on the Disney World website. You will find resources for each park so you know what attractions your kiddos will be able to experience, where you can find their favorite characters, and what new and exciting offerings are available for magical family fun! Here are my quick must-dos for each park you plan to visit:
Don't forget about the Baby Care Centers that can be found in each park, Disney PhotoPass Service that can capture all your magical family memories, and Rider Switch Service so everyone who is willing and able can experience attractions across the theme parks.

I just know you're going to have a fabulous vacation, Heather! Your itinerary is solid, and these tips and suggestions should help you maximize your time with your young ones both at the parks and across the resort. Come back and see us at planDisney for more planning advice!

    Stay magical,
    Scott
