Even though you're in California, all booking times for
Lightning Lanes follow Eastern Time—the time zone for
Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. Therefore, you'll want to be ready bright and early at 4:00 AM Pacific Time. The
My Disney Experience app won't adjust for your local time zone, so be sure to plan accordingly (and maybe have a cup of coffee handy!). You might be Grumpy for the rest of the day, but at least you'll have your Lightning Lane's booked!
And before the big day, double-check that everyone in your travel party is linked in your Family & Friends list and that your app is updated to the latest version. That way, when 7:00 AM (or 4:00 AM for you!) rolls around, you'll be ready to start your day with a dash of Disney magic!
