Hi Charles! Welcome to planDisney!
I'm excited to hear that you're planning a large family vacation to the
Most Magical Place on Earth! With everything that goes into the planning process, having a little help along the way will be greatly beneficial.
There are a few ways to begin booking your stay. One way to do so is by using the
"Build Your Vacation" toolbar on the Walt Disney World website. You'll first enter your travel dates along with the number of Guests in your party to show availability for the Disney Resort hotels that can accommodate your stay. With a group of 14 Guests, you will most likely need multiple resort rooms to fit all of your family. Some
Deluxe Villas will hold up to 12 Guests, but it will be best to determine what sleeping arrangements you prefer before committing to a particular setup. To book multiple rooms, you will need to create a separate vacation package for each room. Make sure to list the appropriate Guests on each reservation who will sleep in each room. Once you select your room type, you'll be prompted to choose your park tickets, which you can customize to best fit the needs of your trip. You can then opt to add on the Disney Dining Plan to account for most of your meals throughout your stay. Ground transportation can also be added in the form of a rental car through your vacation package. After choosing any additional add-ons, you'll need to pay a small deposit to secure your booking for each reservation.
Since you want to include airfare and transportation to your
Disney Resort hotel, I suggest using an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner to help book your trip. These individuals do not work directly for Disney, but they are trained to help you book your stay. They can take care of all accommodations, including your resort stay, ticket package, dining plan, airfare, and transportation. They will be extremely helpful in helping sort out multiple resort rooms and keeping your plans very organized. To find one, simply perform a Google search, and a host of options will appear. Find the one that seems like the best fit for you and let them help you get started. The best part about using an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner is that there is no additional cost to do so. You'll pay the same amount for your trip as if you booked it yourself.
Charles, I hope this information helps you plan for your stay.
