Hi there, Benjamin, and welcome to planDisney!
As Florida residents, we have so many Walt Disney World deals to look forward to each year. Let’s get right into everything you and your girlfriend need to know about visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth.
Here’s the lowdown about how to purchase a specially priced ticket: Whether you need a 1-day ticket or something a bit longer to keep the magic going, you can find these on the
Disney Admissions webpage. Scroll down to the section that says “Special Offers for Florida Residents.” There, you will see discounted multi-day tickets and a 1-day ticket option. You will get more value (lower price per day) with a ticket like the Discover Disney ticket that is exclusively for us residents.
If you need a hotel stay as well (staycations are good for the Disney heart), you can find Florida-resident Disney
Resort hotel discounts for Spring 2026 and beyond. I also love that if you decide to become
Annual Passholders, with parking and discounted merch perks, there are many ticket levels to choose from—and residents can choose to do a Monthly Payment Plan. I love being able to pay as I go throughout the year. Be sure to check out the Proof of Florida residency page to make sure you have everything you need to make your purchase.
AN EXTRA GEM: To make the most out of your upcoming trip, look into getting
Lightning Lane Single and/or Multi Passes. These will help you bypass longer lines to attractions to really maximize your one day at the Disney Parks. Thrill rides like TRON and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind tend to have pretty long lines, but with a pre-purchased Single Pass, you are just steps away from the adventure. You can make these reservations in the
My Disney Experience app up to 7 days beforehand if you’re staying on property or up to 3 days earlier if you’re not onsite.
Benjamin, I’m including a video of my friends Tiffany and Lizzie that’s all about how to have a practically perfect adults-only trip. You’ll want to check that out; it’s full of fun ideas and tips! I hope that this answer helped and that you’re ready to start planning an amazing day at the parks. Please reach out to planDisney again if you have other questions about Disney World.
I’m all ears!Magic always,
LeAndra
