Hi, I am looking to visit in 2026 and my 2 year old will turn 3 during our trip. Travel agents are insisting that I need to pay for a ticket for the duration of our visit is this the case?

Welcome to planDisney, Laura Nicole! I'm so excited to know you will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort with your family next year! Thanks for stopping in with your question.

Your travel agent is correct. Your child will need a ticket once they turn three during your visit next February.

There's so much to enjoy with your little one once you arrive, especially if you are staying at a Disney hotel. My girls have always been happy to have a resort day to enjoy the pool areas. When you arrive, check with the front desk to find out about Movies Under the Stars as well as other activities that may be complimentary during your stay.

During your vacation, keep an eye out for Baby Care Centers at all four theme parks. These centers are a great place to change, feed and find baby essentials like diaper cream, over-the-counter children's medication and even baby formula. They also have bottle warmers, microwaves and highchairs for snack and mealtimes. My family always made sure to stop in when my girls were younger, because they were so convenient and clean!

Laura Nicole, I hope I've been helpful. Please feel free to come back to see us if you have any more planning questions. It's always our pleasure to help you with your plans!
