John, you should be able to use your MagicBands from last year. My favorite
MagicBand+ is actually one that I got for a Disney Cruise in 2023, and I successfully used it at Walt Disney World Resort a couple of days ago! Be sure to double-check that it's still activated and linked. Open up the
My Disney Experience Mobile App, click on the icon in the bottom right corner of your screen, and then scroll down to Account. Click on MagicBands & Cards, then select your name. You should see your MagicBand+ listed there, and you can even check the battery and customize it! You shouldn't have any trouble using your MagicBand+ during your vacation.
If you have any technical difficulties or find that your MagicBand+ isn't working properly, please stop by the Front Desk of your
Disney Resorts Collection hotel or
Guest Services to chat with a helpful Cast Member. I also recommend using
Disney MagicMobile Service, which allows you to save your
Disney Theme Park ticket to the wallet of your smartphone, just like you would with a credit card or boarding pass. This is a great backup in case you ever forget your MagicBand+!
