There is truly nothing like heading out onto the savanna at night, spotting animals through night vision, and feeling like you’re on your very own Disney safari adventure. Meghan, let’s hop on that safari truck and roll right into your question. The great news is that you do not need to stay on property to book the Starlight Safari at
Animal Kingdom Lodge – Kidani Village. So, no worries there! You will need to make a reservation in advance.
Reservations open 60 days in advance, typically around 6:00 AM Eastern, and you can book either on the
website or in your
My Disney Experience app. Most nights offer two safari times, usually around 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM, so you can choose the one that works best for your evening plans.
While you’re at Kidani Village, I highly recommend making a reservation at
Sanaa. Their
bread service is an absolute must-do (in fact, we were there this weekend), and the savanna views are incredible. It’s the perfect way to kick off your night before heading out on your safari under the stars.
