Hi Steven!
Welcome to planDisney! You have come to the perfect place to get answers to all of your Disney vacation planning questions. Since there are a few ways to go about booking your stay, let's discuss a few options you have.
The easiest way to book your trip is to
visit the Walt Disney World website and use the "Build Your Vacation" toolbar. You'll start by entering your anticipated travel dates and the number of Guests in your party. A host of Disney Resort hotels will appear below, and you can decide which one fits best for your stay. Once you select your room type, you can then choose your
theme park ticket package and any additional add-ons (such as the Disney Dining Plan). The entire process takes only a matter of moments, and you can be on your way to confirming your October stay. If you run into any problems or have questions along the way, you can always
call the Walt Disney World Resort and speak to a Cast Member. These individuals can book your entire vacation package over the phone and answer any questions you may have.
Steven, if you're looking to book a room-only reservation at a Disney Resort hotel, you can certainly do so as well. There is no requirement to add park tickets to your reservation if you did not need to do so. If you were referring to other types of reservations, including
Advanced Dining Reservations or experiences listed on the
Enchanting Extras Collection, these can be made closer to your arrival date. Beginning 60 days in advance, you can log onto your My Disney Experience account and begin making your selections. If you need additional details regarding booking these experiences,
stop back again to planDisney with your questions.
If you need help booking your entire stay, including airfare and travel accommodations, perform a Google search for Authorized Disney Vacation Planners. You'll be able to work with these individuals directly and book your entire stay with them.
I hope this information helps you plan for your vacation, Steven! Have a magical day!
Greg
