Hi there, Marisa!
I like your choices.
Lamplight Lounge is one of my favorite places to dine at the Disneyland Resort. And I love the memories I’ve made while enjoying the out-of-this-world beats from DJ R-3X at
Oga’s Cantina. These are both extremely popular dining destinations. So you may find limited availability for advanced dining reservations.
In general,
dining reservations may be made up to 60 days in advance. I have noticed from time to time that a given dining location may drop their expected hours and reservation openings into the online reservation system a few days less than 60 in advance of a given date. So I recommend checking back if the system doesn’t yet seem to have a given date available to check.
Park hours are also generally released a couple of months in advance. This can vary, depending on the season. Park hours and specific hours of a given dining location or other venue or attraction are subject to change. So it’s also a good idea to check back again as your visit draws closer.
Should you find advanced dining reservations unavailable, please don’t give up hope! The magic of the
Disneyland mobile app may come to the rescue. Select “Dining” from the app’s map view and find your desired dining destination. Many locations offer
Mobile Dine Walk-up Availability. This is especially helpful for finding a place in Oga’s Cantina. And if you don’t see walk-up availability at Lamplight Lounge, be sure to check the app for availability at
Lamplight Lounge - Boardwalk Dining as well. That location serves
only walk-up Guests
. Note that you must be nearby the restaurant to join the mobile walk-up list. For your convenience, you may usually join the list while you are in the queue for a nearby attraction! For the best chances of joining a walk-up list for popular destinations, I recommend signing on as early as convenient for you during your visit to the parks.
Tony’s Tips: If you are visiting Lamplight Lounge during brunch hours, I have enjoyed the Lamplight Chilaquiles multiple times. During lunch and dinner hours, the Lobster Nachos are the can’t-miss menu item. In the outer rim of a galaxy far, far away, I’m a sucker for the Blue Bantha. But I also like to spice things up with a Blurrgfire once in a while. My friends have really enjoyed the iconic Fuzzy Tauntaun drink as well.
I hope you have a magical, and delicious, time at the Disneyland Resort, Marisa!
