Hello there, Kristian!
Welcome back to planDisney, and excellent question! I’m Shantel, and I am more than happy to help answer your question.
Florida resident offers are fantastic and intended to be used by those who reside in Florida. Unfortunately, the rest of your party will not be able to visit the theme parks using this offer. Keep in mind that
proof of residency is also needed when purchasing tickets using the Florida Resident offers. As a sibling to someone who resides in Florida, I, too, wish I could use these offers. The bonus is, my sister now has an
Annual Pass, and our visits double as a Disney Vacation and a chance to visit her!
The ongoing joke between my husband and me is that I’m moving in permanently with her just so I can be a Florida resident and take full advantage of using an Annual Pass. Although even with living a few states away, an Annual Pass is not off the table yet. I’m looking for the right time to purchase one, and as I mentioned, I'll get a Disney trip and a visit with my sister. It’s basically a win-win situation.
Since your group is planning a visit, I recommend checking out the current
Special Offers. There might be some savings there; the rest of your party can take advantage of them for this trip! My family spends most of our visit in the theme parks. So we usually save by staying at a
Value Resort and splurge on things inside the theme parks. Which is also another option for you.
Kristian, I hope this helps guide your planning. Please be sure to visit us again if you have any additional questions or need any other planning tips.
Magical Memories,
Shantel
