Hi Amy! Welcome to planDisney!
I'm excited to hear that you'll be visiting the
Walt Disney World Resort over the holidays. Celebrating New Year's at the Most Magical Place on Earth is a dream come true.
At this time,
park hours have been updated on the Disney World website to reflect the dates you will be on-site. Based on the information shown, Happily Ever After will take place once on January 1st. The two nights prior, December 30th and 31st, there will be two showings each night of the Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks. This is a special show that is displayed for New Year's Eve.
There are no current showtimes for the nighttime parade; however, I'm sure this information will be updated at a later date. I suggest checking back to the website periodically for any updates or changes. You'll want to plan accordingly, especially since this is a busy time of year at the Magic Kingdom and Walt Disney World Resort.
Regardless of which show or parade you end up seeing, each one is remarkable in its own right. The new nighttime parade,
Disney Starlight, is a magnificent display of dazzling lights and creative floats. I suggest carving out some time to see it while you are there!
Amy, I hope you have a magical time during your stay!
Stop back and see us again at planDisney!
