Hiya Amy! Welcome to planDisney... oh, boy! I see you're planning a magical vacation for early next year. That's so exciting!! Going right after the crowds of new years is an absolutely brilliant time to visit, in my opinion. You're going to enjoy every magical moment!
Let's talk about how you can make a payment towards your Disney trip. If you've booked a Disney Vacation Package, which is a Disney Resort plus theme park tickets, you should be able to make a payment by logging on to
My Disney Experience - My Plans. If for some reason your reservation is not yet linked to your My Disney account, this is the place to do so... just hover over Resort Hotel and click "Link a Reservation".
Once your reservation is linked, you should be able to see all those pixie-dusted details! Your reservation dates, resort hotel, and remaining balance should be displayed, along with a button that says "Make a Payment". If you prefer, you can also call and have a
Disney Hotel Reservations Cast Member assist with applying your payment. This is a nice option to have if you are combining various forms of payment, like Disney Gift Cards and Disney Reward Dollars. The balance on your Disney Vacation Package will be due in full 30 days prior to check in.
Amy, I've got a money saving tip for you! I love that you've locked in your vacation reservation so you're guaranteed your preference of dates and Disney Resort. But I suggest you keep an eye out on the
Special Offers, Deals, & Discounts page... especially starting around this Fall. If any deals are featured that work for your plans, you can easily switch to that offer and save some money. By my girl math, that equates to extra Disney snacks and shopping "for free". Woo hoo!!
I hope this helps answer your question, and that you'll
visit me again at planDisney if I can assist with any other tips or recommendations. I'll be sending pixie-dust your way to have a wonderful Disney World vacation!
Magical memories await,
Tami
