Hi Ana, welcome back to planDisney!
I reached out directly to
Passholder Payment Services to find the answer to your question. While you can change the card used for your monthly payments at any time, it must be a debit or credit card; you cannot change it to a gift card, even for one payment.
As a Florida resident and an Annual Passholder, I hope you have many opportunities to visit Walt Disney World over the next year. Visiting means you can use your
Disney gift card to purchase merchandise and snacks in the parks and at
Disney Springs! You can even use your Disney gift card on
Disney Cruise Line and on
DisneyStore.com. I think that gives you so many options for making sure that gift card is put to good use! I often ask for Disney gift cards around the holidays or birthdays because I know I will find a way to use them for something magical.
There is a lot happening in
Walt Disney World during 2026, beginning with the return of Festival of the Arts and Disney After Hours events. Then there will be some changes to attractions and the reopening of some of our favorites like
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and
Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin. And that’s all expected in Spring 2026! Keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for future details and even more announcements about the rest of 2026.
I hope your 2026 is filled with Walt Disney World visits, Ana! If you’re looking for any recommendations or have any more questions, please send them our way at
planDisney!
