Hiya Martha,
Welcome to planDisney! I'm not sure about you, but I love being an
Annual Passholder! From being able to get discounts on dining and merchandise to being able to visit the theme parks more frequently, there are numerous perks. Did you hear about the exclusive
Passholder preview of the re-opening of Test Track?! I was so excited when I heard about it that I almost booked a flight to Orlando to take advantage of it!
Speaking of theme park entry, Martha, let's chat about blockout days. As you know, Passholders can enter the theme parks after 2 pm without a theme park reservation currently (please note that starting on July 20th, a theme park reservation will be required for Magic Kingdom after 2 pm due to the exciting debut of
Disney Starlight). However, blockout dates still apply in these instances. So, Martha, if your Pixie Dust Pass is blocked out for today, then you would not be able to enter any theme park at any time using it. You could buy a standard theme park ticket (there is a
great deal for Florida residents currently) and then visit the theme parks, but you wouldn't be able to enter with your Pixie Dust Pass.
I hope this was helpful, Martha. If you do decide to take advantage of a standard theme park ticket (or the Florida resident summer deal), you can still show your annual pass for the free parking and discounts. You may not be able to use it for your theme park entry, but your other passholder perks are still applicable! I hope you have a magical visit, and please don't hesitate to come back and see us if you need anything else.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
